INTERSTELLAR LIVING IN PIONEERTOWN
Nicknamed Interstellar, this HO5 is a modern desert dwelling designed to take full advantage of Pioneertown’s expansive skies and otherworldly landscape. Set in California’s high desert, the home offers a striking contrast of clean lines against rugged terrain—delivering refined, off-grid-ready living in one of the most iconic environments in the West. Spanning 1,536 sq. ft. with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, the HO5 provides an open, functional layout anchored by a central living space and panoramic desert views. Large-format windows bring the outdoors in by day, while at night, the home becomes a front-row seat to the stars—making it the perfect base for slow living and endless stargazing.

Built from five steel-frame modules and delivered fully finished, the home was installed with minimal site disruption and maximum efficiency. Durable materials, high-performance insulation, and a minimalist interior palette were chosen to suit the climate and enhance the connection to the land.

Project Interstellar is more than a home—it’s a modern retreat designed for stillness, silence, and the vastness of the desert night sky. A place where architecture meets atmosphere.
