Our assembly is designed as a low slope roof. Our standard spec is 130 PSF snow load. Our roof covering is an Energy Efficient, Cool Roof Rated fully adhered 60 Mil PVC membrane with a 15 year warranty. If you need increased snows in your area, we can accommodate.
Every Honomobo is built with efficiency in mind and built to meet and exceed your local requirements. Utilizing 2lb closed cell polyurethane spray foam insulation, we are able to achieve, as standard, an effective R24 in the walls, effective R38.9 in the ceiling and an optional in-floor insulation upgrade of an effective R24 that is recommended if your home is placed over a non-conditioned foundation.
Yes we can! It may slow down the process as we design the site build portion and your contractor will need to be involved as we finalize the drawings as they will be responsible for building it out.
From design through to permits and completion it typically takes 10-12 months. Permits vary by jurisdiction and can be as quick as 1 month or as long as 6+ months. The quicker you begin the pre-construction phase the sooner you can have your home! It typically only takes us 10-12 weeks to actually build your home.
